ABOUT
The Toll House is a converted Victorian house offering cozy and comfortable getaway in beautiful Aldeburgh.
Situated only a few minutes walk from the beach and the High Street, with its shops and restaurants, Toll House is an ideal base for your stay, whether you are looking for a holiday, weekend break or a walking/cycling trip with friends .
Since its opening in 2004 the Toll House has retained the four star quality rating.
GUEST ROOMS
Our rooms and facilities were designed with your needs in mind. Comfortable and with a bit of personality, each one of our seven rooms will make your stay at the Toll House easy and fun.
We have two twin and one doouble room on the ground floor, should you find the stairs challenging.
All our rooms have small shower en-suites. Flat screen TVs with CD/DVD player, hot drinks facilities and free WiFi are available in all rooms.

Breakfast
We serve a full English breakfast, with delicous vegetarian and vegan options available too. There is also a selection of cereals, homemade granola, fruit and homemade preserves too. All prepared fresh to order, they will help start your day on the right foot.

Daily Housekeeping
Due to Covid -19 we will not enter your room for the duration of your stay, however we will provide fresh supplies whenever required

Aldeburgh Beach and High Street
Spend a day enjoying the sea air, admire Maggie Hambling's sculpture of Scallop on the beach, browse the High Street shops and enjoy a well deserved cuppa
Walks
Enjoy a bracing stroll to Thorpeness along the seafront and return along the disused rail track , or along the Alde river wall on Slaughden Marsh Walk or take a bit longer to explore the picturesque Sailors Path, to name but a few

The Red House
Home to the Britten-Pears Foundation. The Foundation maintains, conserves and develops The Red House as a major heritage site and archive based at Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears’ Suffolk home.

Minsmere
Discover some of the UK's rarest wildlife and enjoy family-friendly activities at Minsmere. Choose an idyllic walk or head to the coastal lagoons to see an impressive variety of birds, including avocets, bearded tits and bitterns. If you're lucky, you might see an otter around the reedbed pools.
Sutton Hoo
Visit the England's Valley of the Kings. The Anglo-Saxon ship burial found in the King's Mound is the richest burial ever found in northern Europe. Most iconic among the treasures is undoubtedly the Sutton Hoo helmet, now in British Museum
